Our Team

Rosa (Nami) Soto
Nami was born in Mexico and has been cooking since she was very young. While she was in high school she competed and owns the award of Culinary Student of the Year from the Washington State Restaurant Association in 2002. Her passion for food led her to move to Seattle WA to attend culinary school at The Art Institute of Seattle where she graduated with honors.

After graduation she pursues her working career at various hotels and restaurants in the Seattle Area. She has managed and assisted to manage numerous banquet, catering and pastry jobs while working under great area chefs. She is enjoys learning new styles of food and techniques that she can apply into her culinary creativeness.

She has worked and apprenticed under Chef Wayne Johnson at The Mayflower Park Hotel. She performed and assisted several charity events: Breast Cancer Awareness Auction at the Sheraton Hotel, Central District Forum's Food is Art, Farestart charity events and the Woodland Park Zoo Jungle Party.

She also accompanied Chef Wayne Johnson to New York to compete on Iron Chef America in 2011.
